Crystal Makes It Clear... The Logic Is In Delivery Of Content + More

[SatNews] Crystal, a provider of network monitoring and management solutions announced the latest release of Logic, a more efficient way of automating fault handling that ensures faster resolution and reaction to any given fault condition.

Logic builds on the concepts of Crystal’s existing automation engine and adds user-facing configuration through an editing interface. Customers can define not only new faults, but also virtual device attributes via the user-friendly interface.  Automated action based on system conditions can then be defined through the same interface.

Logic uses a JavaScript compiler and interpreter, which is faster than the previous system and able to handle the various conditions and values users may need, such as date/time calculations. It enables complex expressions, meaning exactly the right conditions can be verified, which are usually unique to each user.

“Delivering content is increasingly complex,” said Roger Franklin, CEO, Crystal. “With this complexity comes a growing need for sophisticated automation solutions that can reduce the burden on the operator. We constantly innovate to ensure our solutions make life simpler for our customers and we think this update will be a huge asset for them.”

Logic will be deployed with all new Crystal systems. It will be demonstrated at the Crystal booth (#3087) at Satellite 2015.
