[SatNews] A reset of the launch date has been required...

Globalstar, Inc. (Nasdaq:GSAT) has had to delay the launch of six Globalstar satellites, which were scheduled for liftoff earlier today. The launch was postponed due to a countdown interruption prior to liftoff of the Soyuz launch vehicle from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Launch provider Arianespace announced that the Globalstar launch has been delayed due to an equipment malfunction on the launch pad. That particular issue has been resolved, as of this writing, and the new launch date will be Wednesday, July 13 at 8:27 a.m., local time at Baikonur Cosmodrome (2:27 a.m. UTC)
