Marshall Communications — Doing Good For DISA/DoD


The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) of the United States Department of Defense (DOD) has awarded MARSHALL Communications Corporation two contracts for maintenance and support on the DVB-RCS Hub located in Landstuhl, Germany, and the Hub located at DISA’s Skyline, Falls Church facility. MARSHALL announced that In 2006, the Company lead the effort in the systems integration and engineering in providing, at the time, the unique, first-of-its-kind, DVB-RCS system at the DOD Teleport in Landstuhl, for USCENTCOM — currently supporting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

MARSHALL is a leader in the DVB-RCS/S2 arena, and will continue to pursue the opportunity to provide open-standard, broadband solutions to DOD. MARSHALL currently provides continual operations and maintenance to DVB-RCS/S2 terminals deployed within the South West Asia Theatre. The fly-away DVB-RCS equipment is providing the interactive, secured, two-way services for the Full Motion Video (FMV) for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) video dissemination.
