NSSLGlobal Becomes An Inmarsat VAR For Global Xpress

[Satnews]  Inmarsat (LSE:ISAT.L) has signed an agreement with NSSLGlobal and has appointed that company as a Global Xpress (GX) Value Added Reseller (VAR) for enterprise customers.

Already appointed as a GX VAR for the Maritime and Government markets, NSSLGlobal will now also be offering GX services to its customers in media, mining, oil and gas and multinationals. With three Global Xpress satellites successfully launched and global commercial service on track for the end of the year, NSSLGlobal will be able to bring Global Xpress services to enterprise customers around the globe.

Global Xpress is the world’s first globally available commercial Ka-band mobile broadband satellite network from a single operator, representing a new era in mobile satellite communications. Global Xpress will provide very high bandwidth services to end-users around the world on land, at sea and in the air. Global Xpress complements Inmarsat’s reliable L-band network which customers have depended on for decades.

Nikolaj Hvegholm, Group Commercial and Marketing Officer at NSSLGlobal, said, “Providing secure and reliable communications has always been at the core of NSSLGlobal’s business and with the continuously increasing bandwidth demands of our end-users, alongside the requirement for quick mobility, a seamless global coverage and the highest service availability, Global Xpress will be a significant development for our enterprise customers globally.”
