ISS Has Software Support For US Army + US Air Force Intelligence Analysis + Data Fusion

[Satnews]  Intelligent Software Solutions (ISS) has been awarded a $24.4 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide software support for a number of Army and Air Force organizations around the world.

This is the 15th task order from a $583 million contract ISS was awarded in 2012.  Known as Air Space Precision Engagement Research and Engineering (ASPERE), the program called for ISS to provide an advanced software development framework for building intelligence analysis and data fusion software.

Under terms of this task order, known as ASPERE Operations and Maintenance for Combatant Commands, ISS will continue providing software support and maintenance activities for Army, Air Force, Department of Defense, intelligence community and other federal agencies around the world.

ASPERE was originally awarded to ISS by the Air Force Research Laboratory, Information Directorate, in Rome, New York. It provides a customizable data visualization and analysis infrastructure.  It is designed to exploit temporal, spatial, entity, and association information, and allow for report generation, incident reporting, workflow, and query/search. The ultimate goal is to offer tools that provide improved situational awareness to intelligence analysts and the warfighter.

For this task order, ISS will continuing leveraging its expertise with Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE) and WebTAS Enterprise (WE), to provide new innovations in key areas such as intelligence analysis and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance. ISS is performing research, development, integration, testing, demonstration, and operations and maintenance of groundbreaking technologies and concepts in support of the ASPERE effort.
