PSSI Global Services LLC (PSSI), satellite transmission and event management company, has acquired New England Satellite (NES), closing the deal on November 1, 2013.

During the transition, PSSI general manager Matt Scalici will work with NES founder and president John Foley to integrate the operations, fleet and services of both companies. With existing offices and operations centers in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, PSSI will retain the Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, facility that formerly served as NES headquarters, and will continue operation there. Six uplink trucks and several flyaway systems will also bolster the range of capabilities PSSI provides.

“PSSI is very pleased to welcome John Foley and the NES staff to our team,” said PSSI CEO Robert Lamb. “We’ve worked with John and NES for more than 30 years, and have valued their experience and expertise. The fleet of six Ku-band and C-band Satellite trucks, as well as two Flyaway systems and extensive production capabilities, will give PSSI greater capabilities and infrastructure to assist customers throughout the country.”

John Foley also commented, “We are excited to become a part of the PSSI Global Services family and see this as a wonderful opportunity to be of even greater service to our clients on a national basis.”

Seamless customer service is of paramount importance to PSSI as service agreements are integrated.  This combination of resources and expertise will help fortify the robust deployment of PSSI resources globally.

To our customers—current, new and future:

We at PSSI are pleased to announce that as of November 1, 2013, we have acquired the acclaimed New England Satellite (NES).

Many NES staff will join our team, as well as six uplink trucks and several flyaway systems—all serving to strengthen the services we proudly provide to you.

In addition to our Los Angeles and Las Vegas offices, we will continue operation via NES’s former headquarters in Shrewsbury, Mass. PSSI’s general manager, Matt Scalici, will work with NES founder and president John Foley to combine our operations, fleet and services during the transition.

We’ve been proud to work with John Foley and his incredible company for more than 30 years, and we share a lot of our clients. Because of this, we expect an easy transition and almost all former NES customers will be able to continue their current contracts.

We know there are some customers that have been very loyal to NES, and we look forward to having the opportunity to get to know and assist them with their future success in this industry.
