STS Global and Satcube Partner ... a Swedish Cube that Gets Around in the U.S.

Satcube Ku is an easy to use as an iPhone, is a lightweight terminal for high speed data communication over High Throughput Satellites. The high-performance capabilities (4Mbps to 20Mbps).

The SmallSat Symposium presented last week by Satnews Publishers was a revelation regarding the many aspects of small sats—their maturation in just a few years in which they are now a very real part of the sat industry, not just academia or hobbyists, but for commercial and government use. And so this news comes from...

STS Global Inc. announced a new partnership with the Swedish satellite company Satcube. Under this agreement, STS Global will promote and distribute their Satcube satellite terminal product in the United States. This partnership comes after the successful testing in Washington November 2017 where the lightweight terminal delivered a throughput of 10 Mbps downstream and 10 Mbps upstream via the Intelsat Epic 29e.

Jakob Kallmér, founder of Satcube said they are delighted to be working with such an experienced partner of the U.S. satellite market. STS Global is renowned for its focus on cutting-edge solutions and that means there is a natural fit with the new Satcube terminal.

The terminal is optimized for use with High-Throughput Satellites and is designed to be as easy to use as an iPhone. With a compact form factor, the terminal fits into approved cabin baggage and weighs only 8 kilograms (15.4 lbs).

David Hershberg, STS Global, CEO said  they are very pleased to be partnering with Satcube for the distribution of this new and exciting terminal, and they believe that the high-performance capabilities and light packaging of this product are unique and will suit a wide range of commercial and governmental applications.
