Mr. Rees has 30 years of experience in multi-channel network origination, television production and the cable channel industry. Prior to Encompass, he was Vice President of Operations for MountainWest Sports Network (The Mtn.), where he was responsible for Master Control, transmission, distribution, and studio and remote productions. During his tenure, Rees was charged with the Network’s progressive transition to HD along with the technical enhancement of the on-air presentation. For The Mtn.’s original program series, he was also responsible for all new media applications including VOD and broadband applications.
Before joining The Mtn., Mr. Rees was Senior Director of Operations for the Comcast Media Center which originated over 120 24/7 networks at the time. From Executive Producer to Cinematographer, Online Editor to News Director, Mr. Rees has extensive experience in the broadcast field.
