Northrop Grumman... Cyberspace Collusion (Comms)


[SatNews] The integration of various technologies and disciplines assists military organizations in becoming far more effective in meeting their operational goals.

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been awarded a contract for cyberspace operations supporting the U.S. Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) to provide cyberspace science, research, engineering and technology integration. The cyberspace operations contract is an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract structure with a two-year base period with three one-year option years with a potential value of $200 million. Northrop Grumman is one of four companies that will compete for task orders under the contract. Work on this contract will be performed primarily in San Diego. The scope of the contract will include examining the science, architecture, engineering, functionality, interface and interoperability of cyberspace operations systems, services and capabilities. Northrop Grumman will perform operations and requirements analysis, concept formulation and development, feasibility demonstrations and operational support. Additionally, the team will design and implement software as well as systems integration, test and evaluation, and demonstration.
