New Family of S-Band Offerings Arrive from Advantech Wireless

Advantech Wireless has released their complete line of S-band Solid State Power Amplifiers, S-Band Synthesized and Block Frequency Converters Single / Dual / Triple / Quad, and Satellite Loop Translators.

The complete S-band line from Advantech Wireless targets the traditional satellite telemetry market as well as new generation LEO satellites.

Intended for indoor or outdoor operation, Advantech Wireless’ S-Band Solid State Power Amplifiers are compact size in size. The design of the extended line of SSPAs is based on the company’s proven techniques that result in high linearity and operating efficiency. The S-Band Amplifiers may be configured to operate in 1:1 or 1:2 redundancy modes, with built-in microprocessor controller in each unit for redundancy operation and capability for serial port interfaces (RS485) or Ethernet for remote monitoring and control.

This extended line of S-band frequency converters provide the maximum flexibility for the new generation of LEO satellites on critical applications such as Remote Sensing, Earth Observation (EO), Topography, Telemetry and Control, Weather Services and Digital Imaging. Combined with Advantech Wireless’ line of Solid State Power Amplifiers with up to 3kW in RF Power and S-Band LNAs, the complete product line offers a full one stop shop solution for system integrators and operators.

Cristi Damian, VP Global Sales and Business Development, RF and Microwave Products at Advantech Wireless. noted that this new extended line is an ideal choice for all service providers and system integrators, either for traditional satellite telemetry applications, or for the new generation of LEO satellites. The full product line portfolio offers a convenient One Stop Shop approach, with much lower integration cost, while avoiding the risk of non-compatibility.”
