UPDATE: Scrubbed Tuesday's SpaceX's Falcon 9 Resupply Mission to ISS Launch


A resupply mission's date for SpaceX's Falcon 9 has been changed as of a short while ago, announcing ... 

"NASA and SpaceX are now targeting no earlier than 11:24 a.m. EST Wednesday, December 13th,  for the company’s 13th commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station. SpaceX requested additional time for prelaunch ground systems checks. Meteorologists with the U.S. Air Force 45th Space Wing are predicting 90 percent chance of favorable weather for liftoff."

A Dragon spacecraft will launch atop a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Dragon is now scheduled to arrive at the space station on Saturday, Dec. 16.

SpaceX will launch a Dragon spacecraft on a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 on a resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

Dragon will deliver supplies, equipment and science investigations. Science investigations include:

  • Total and Spectral Solar Irradiance Sensor, or TSIS-1(a NASA instrument)
  • a fiber optic payload 

 

SpaceX will attempt to land the first stage of Falcon 9 on the LZ-1 landing site located at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
