RigNet's Gain w/Global Supply Chain Initiative + Follows Up w/Hiring A Director Of Supply Chain


[SatNews] RigNet, Inc. (Nasdaq:RNET), based in Huston, Texas, announced today the launch of its new Global Supply Chain Initiative, and the hiring of Brian Moncrief as Director of Supply Chain to lead the effort.

The Global Supply Chain Initiative consists of strategic sourcing, asset management, capital expenditures, inventory management and procurement. Moncrief and the Supply Chain organization will work with all regions and functions globally to coordinate third party spend and key supplier relationships, including the areas of bandwidth, technology, services, logistics and other indirect spend categories.  

RigNet supplies digital technology solutions to the oil and gas industry,  serving offshore and onshore drilling rigs, energy production facilities and energy maritime vessels.  They provide solutions ranging from fully-managed voice and data networks to more advanced applications that include video conferencing and real-time data services to over 1,200 remote sites in 50 countries on six continents.
