Jim Bates Appointed as Account Executive, Enterprise Services Group, GlobeCast America Miami, Fla/January 30, 2004/Satnews/ Satellite services provider GlobeCast America announced recently that Jim Bates has been appointed as Account Executive, Enterprise Services Group. He will be responsible for marketing and developing private network services, including business television, video to desktop, data file transfer, and corporate special events broadcasting for the corporate, distance learning, hospitality and retail industries. He will report to Dan Loveless, Director of Enterprise Sales. Jim brings over 10 years of experience in both new business development and enterprise IT solutions to GlobeCast. Previously, Jim served as Sales Director, Enterprise Service, for Loral Skynet, concentrating on traditional broadcast and IP network services for corporate customers in the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition, Jim Bates has held sales and sales management positions at IT companies including Cidera, Orblynx, and Equinix.
