SeaChange Appoints Goldfarb and Lipson to Key Positions

 

Maynard, Mass./January 19,  2004/Satnews/  SeaChange International (Nasdaq:SEAC) today announced the appointments of Ira Goldfarb as senior vice president, worldwide sales and  programming and Stuart Lipson as vice president of content solutions.

Goldfarb joined SeaChange in 1994 as vice president of central U.S. region sales and was subsequently named vice president of eastern region sales. Previously, Goldfarb was vice president, worldwide broadband sales. For more than a decade Goldfarb worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, where he held several sales management positions in the company's financial industry business. Goldfarb holds a BA in mathematics from Clark University and an MBA from Boston University.

Stuart Lipson has focused on media and entertainment for over 20 years. Since 1996, his consultancy provided strategic support for a wide range of television programmers and technology companies including Court TV, Agency.com and Incanta. Lipson spent the six prior years with Century Communications, where he was vice president of programming and advertising sales. His career began with ten years in television commercial production.

Lipson earned his M.S. in technology management from Polytechnic University and his Bachelor's degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany. Lipson serves on the board of the Big Picture Alliance, which provides Philadelphia's inner city youth with opportunities to learn about film production. He is also a member of the Directors Guild of America, and the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing.
