Hires Director of OperationsBuford, GA/January 16, 2004/Satnews/ William (Bill) Kaufmann has joined Crystal Computer Corporation in the newly created position of Director of Operations. He will be responsible for managing Crystal Computer Corporation’s operations and support departments while working closely with the research & development and sales & marketing departments.Kaufmann brings more than 23 years of consulting and project management experience to Crystal. Most recently, Mr. Kaufmann applied his strong technical knowledge to various classified government projects for clients within the defense industry.Mr. Kaufmann began his career at Fluor Daniel, an international engineering consulting firm, where he advanced through progressively more challenging leadership roles while supporting a wide range of domestic and international projects. His clients included Abbott Laboratories, Scherring Plough, Wessley Jessen, American Home Products, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Eastman Kodak Company. Following eighteen years with Fluor Daniel, Mr. Kaufmann founded his own consulting firm, whose clients included Eli Lilly & Company, The Eastman Kodak Company, and The Boeing Company.Earl Franklin, Chairman and founder of Crystal Computer Corporation, said upon the announcement, “Bill brings to Crystal a number of skills that will benefit both Crystal and our customers.
