Verdisys Elects David Adams as President & COO Houston, Tex./January 13, 2004/Satnews/ The board of Houston-based oil and gas industry services provider Verdisys, Inc (BULLETIN BOARD: VDYS) has elected David Adams as its President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately."We are especially pleased to have Mr. Adams join us as President and Chief Operating Officer of Verdisys" said Ron Robinson, Chairman and interim CEO. "He brings substantial operating experience and technical knowledge to the Company and will greatly contribute to the continued success of Verdisys." Mr. Adams is an energy industry veteran having started his career with Pennzoil and completed assignments of increasing responsibility with Transco, Baker Hughes and Hydril. His most recent assignment for the past three years was as President and General Manager of Subsea Mud Lift Drilling, a subsidiary of Hydril Company. He has a strong background in drilling operations in the US and overseas. He has also specialized in developing new drilling technology applications. David has a degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas and is a registered Professional Engineer.
