Dr. Juzar Motiwalla and Andre Halley Join MobiApps' Board of Directors Arlington, Va/December 4, 2003/Satnews/ MobiApps, a provider of hybrid terrestrial and satellite technologies for industrial communications, announced that Juzar Motiwalla and Andre Halley have joined the MobiApps Board of Directors. Dr. Motiwalla currently serves as Partner, Investments at Green Dot Capital. Prior to joining Green Dot Capital, he was Chief Executive Officer of Kent Ridge Digital Labs (KRDL), a 300-person high-tech laboratory. KRDL incubated 15 start-up companies in Asia and Silicon Valley. KRDL's success in bridging competitive world-class technologies with high-growth markets, received international coverage including feature articles in Red Herring, Asian Wall Street Journal and Time. He has also spearheaded the development of several multi-year international R&D partnerships with Apple, HP, IBM, Ericsson and others. Dr. Motiwalla has been on the International Executive Councils of several professional associations and for eight years was a Board Member of Singapore's National Computer Board. Dr. Motiwalla has an MSc and PhD from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Halley brings over 35 years of global telecommunications management experience to MobiApps. He founded and serves as Chief Executive Officer of International Advisory Services (IAS), a consulting firm assisting Western companies in establishing businesses in Asia, and supporting Asian companies export to the Western markets. Prior to joining IAS, Mr. Halley held a number of senior positions at telecommunications companies where he was responsible for diverse international markets. These companies included ORBCOMM GLOBAL, Teleglobe Canada, Bell Cellular, and others. Mr. Halley is an active board member of Dellner Coupler System Technology (Shanghai), Co., Ltd. and Skywave Mobile Communications, Canada. He also served on the Board of Directors of EDC, European Data Communications, Belgium; ORBCOMM Magreb, Morocco; ORBCOMM, Japan; and OMECA ORBCOMM Middle East & Central Asia.
