Xantic Appoints New CEO
The Hague, The Netherlands/November 12, 2003/Satnews/ Dutch service provider Xantic announced the recent appointment of
Pieter Eelkman Rooda new CEO. He took over from Eric de Jong, who had been acting CEO. Pieter Eelkman Rooda is 42 years old, married and has three children. He holds degrees in operations research and marketing. Having worked in various capacities at Fokker Aircraft, Rooda joined the Dutch Broadcasting Company NOB in 1994. During his tenure as CEO of various NOB companies, he primarily focused on (re)gaining profitability, restructuring and strategic repositioning. Over the past three years Rooda was responsible for all the Mergers & Acquisitions activities of NOB. "It is a great challenge to head a company of Xantic's stature in such a dynamic market," said Pieter Eelkman Rooda.
