Todd Miller Promoted to Senior Vice-President, International Networks, Asia of Sony Pictures International Singapore /August 25, 2003/Satnews/ Todd Miller, currently serving as Managing Director of AXN Asia, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, International Networks, Asia, Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI), it was announced today by Andy Kaplan, Senior Executive Vice President, International Networks, SPTI. In his new post, Miller will continue to oversee all operations and day-to-day activities of AXN Asia. Additionally, he will be charged with exploring new business opportunities for Sony's international networks division in Asia. Miller will continue to be based in Singapore, and will continue to work closely with Dewy Ip, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Asia. Since June of 2000, Miller has served as the Managing Director at AXN, the first 24-hour cable and satellite TV channel in Asia exclusively dedicated to action and adventure programming. In this post, Miller has been responsible for guiding the network's expansion and development in Asia, overseeing AXN's three satellite services - AXN South Asia, AXN Taiwan and AXN East Asia. Under Miller's leadership, AXN has expanded its distribution reach to over 70 million households across 18 countries. AXN has gained carriage on all major cable systems across Asia, with nearly 100% South and Southeast Asia distribution. Miller joined Columbia TriStar International Television (CTIT) in 1995 as Vice President of Sales in Hong Kong. During his tenure, Miller was credited with doubling the market share and client base while growing the Columbia TriStar Asian business by 300 percent before taking the helm of AXN Asia. Prior to joining CTIT, he was a senior sales executive at Star TV, where he generated significant advertising revenue for India. He also worked at CNN International and Sojourn magazine.
