OTTAWA, Canada, March 27, 2007 - Satnews Daily - International Datacasting Corporation, a provider of broadband data broadcasting via satellite, said the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency (CFPSA) has exercised their contract option for IDC to continue to provide broadcast services for Canadian Forces overseas.

Valued at $2.47 million, this contract extension is the second year of a contract awarded to IDC in 2006 that is valued at more than $7 million over its three-year expected period of performance.

"The consistent quality and performance that IDC has shown in delivering broadcast programming to our troops has been exceptional."

"We are very pleased and proud to be continuing our long-standing commitment to providing the CFRT service for CFPSA," said Ron Clifton, president and CEO of IDC. "This contract extension marks the eighth year of operation of this important service by IDC for the Canadian Forces. Delivering reliable first-class communications to even the harshest environments is where IDC shines."
