EchoStar Signs Video on Demand Movie Deal with New Line Cinema |

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. & NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2006/Satnews Daily/ ― EchoStar Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: DISH) and its Dish Network satellite TV service announced on Tuesday an agreement with New Line Cinema to carry the studio’s current and catalog titles on its Video On Demand platform, Dish On Demand, as well as Pay-Per-View services.
Dish Network’s Dish On Demand service will give customers the power to enjoy movies and other programs whenever they want and is currently available on the Dish Player-DVR 508, Dish Player-DVR 510, Dish Player-DVR 625, and ViP622 DVR receivers.
Susan Arnold, vice president of Programming for EchoStar, said hit movies such as Wedding Crashers, Monster In Law, and Snakes on a Plane greatly enhance the variety of movie titles available to their customers.
