Radyne Receives $1.6-M Satellite Modem Order

 

PHOENIX, Nov. 29, 2006/Satnews Daily/ ― Radyne Corp. has (NASDAQ:RADN) announced that its Radyne satellite electronics division has received a new order of over $1.6 million for satellite modems and frequency converters from a major South Asian integrator.

 

Radyne said the order is the fourth in a series that totals almost $7 million from the same customer over the past year. The equipment is intended for use in the development of the country's largest landline and mobile telephone network. Radyne expects to ship the entire order during the fourth quarter.

 

Myron Wagner, Radyne's CEO, said the new order is the result of strong customer relationships and the company’s ability to deliver flexible solutions that meet and exceed customer needs.
