Radio Maria Awards $1-M Satellite Radio Network Expansion Contract IDC’s PROFLine Operations |

OTTAWA, Oct. 17, 2006/Satnews Daily/ ― International Datacasting Corporation (IDC) [TSX: IDC] has announced that PROFline B.V., their wholly owned subsidiary and base of operations in Europe, has received a follow-on order from the World Family of Radio Maria, to continue with their major satellite radio network upgrade. This new contract is valued at approximately $1 million (CDN).
PROFline will be supplying a customized version of its DVB audio satellite receiver specifically designed to address the requirements of Radio Maria’s professional radio broadcast network. The new technology will contribute to the upgrade and expansion of Radio Maria’s network in several countries worldwide.
Ron Clifton, president and CEO of IDC, said Radio Maria has selected IDC as provider for the expansion of its network. “PROFline’s technology is proving to be very effective for their radio network purposes and we look forward to continue working with them in the future,” he added.
Berry Eskes, PROFline’s director of Marketing & Sales said, “The new tailor made TRS DVB audio receiver will provide them with a flexible solution, one with which they will be able to keep expanding their network in the future.”
