SNRT Morocco Orders Mobile Broadcasting Equipment from ND SatCom

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, September 18, 2006/Satnews Daily/ — Moroccan TV SNRT, formerly RTM, awarded a contract for a classicSNG vehicle and two Fly-Aways has awarded ND SatCom, an SES Astra company and a supplier of satellite-based broadband VSAT, broadcast, government and defense communication network solutions.

The classicSNG-Sprinter offers full redundancy for core transmission components and disposes of two transmitting channels, which guarantees highest reliability. The two ordered Fly-Aways are light-weight and designed for fast, reliable and efficient news reporting in challenging environmental conditions, such as dust and heat in desert areas.

Dieter Dreizler, director sales of ND SatCom, said ND SatCom and SNRT have maintained a long-term, trusting relationship through the years. “We have already delivered eight Fly-Aways and two compactSNG Vitos for SNRT in the past which completely satisfy SNRT’s high demands for mobile broadcasting,” he said.
