FCC Grants New Certification for XM Radios |

WASHINGTON, Aug. 28, 2006/Satnews Daily/ ― XM Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:XMSR) has announced that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued new grants of authority for three XM radios with FM transmitters after determining that the radios are in compliance with FCC regulations.
XM said its plug-and-play radios are the Audiovox Xpress, Delphi RoadyXT, and XM Sportscaster, three of XM's primary products at retail. XM said it is already is notifying its manufacturers to resume production of these devices.
These new products are expected to be available at retail for the holiday shopping season.
