Globecomm Awarded $2.1-M Infrastructure Contracts |

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Aug. 17, 2006/Satnews Daily/ ― Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM) has announced that it has been awarded multiple infrastructure contracts valued at $2.1 million for a foreign government military agency and a major U.S. broadcaster.
The first contract, an amendment to an existing contract with the customer, is for the expansion of an existing network for a foreign government military agency. This contract is scheduled for completion in the company's fiscal third quarter ending March 31, 2007.
The second contract requires Globecomm to provide a premier U.S. broadcaster with two earth stations, related subsystems and one year of field maintenance. The installation is for the continued expansion of the customer's existing major broadcast network.
