Sirius Satellite Names Adrienne Calderone Senior Vice President and Controller

 

NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2006/Satnews Daily/ — Sirius Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) has appointed Adrienne Calderone as senior vice president and controller reporting to executive vice president and chief financial officer David Frear.

 

In this position, Calderone will be the chief accounting officer responsible for public reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as well as overseeing billing and revenue assurance, general accounting, payroll, tax and financial operations.

 

Previously, Calderone was vice president and controller of PanAmSat Corporation. During her 12 years at PanAmSat she implemented a Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program, conducted financial due diligence, led financial integration on acquisitions and participated in the recently successful merger of PanAmSat with Intelsat.

 

Calderone, a CPA, is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts with a degree in Accounting.
