DataPath Names New Board Chairman |

DULUTH, Ga., July 12, 2006/Satnews Daily/ ― DataPath, Inc. has announced two changes to its board of directors, including the appointment of a new executive chairman and a new member, effective immediately.
W. Wilson Lowery, Jr. becomes DataPath’s executive chairman. Lowery is the vice president of WLLP Capital, a financial management and re-engineering consulting firm. He also serves as a business advisor to the White Oak Group, a private investment firm, and is a member of the advisory committee of H2 Credit Partners, a hedge fund. He previously served as executive assistant director of administration for the FBI, where he was responsible for all financial management and accounting, human resources, internal security, computer operations and development, and re-engineering.
He is a 30-year IBM veteran, and last served as chairman of IBM Credit Corp. and general manager of global financing. He also serves on the advisory committee to the Comptroller General of the U.S. for the Government Accountability Office (GAO). He has been a member of the DataPath board since 2005.
Mack F. Mattingly joins DataPath as a new board member. Senator Mattingly has been an entrepreneur, speaker and author since 1993. From 1992 to 1993, Sen. Mattingly was U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Seychelles; and from 1987 to 1990, he was assistant secretary general for defense support, NATO.
He served as a U.S. senator from Georgia from 1981 to 1987. Sen. Mattingly was owner and president of M's Inc. from 1975 to 1980. From 1959 to 1979, he was a marketing manager for IBM Corp.; and from 1957 to 1959, he was an account supervisor at Arvin Industries. From 1951 to 1955, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant. Sen. Mattingly is a member of numerous boards and commissions, including the Georgia Ports Authority board where he is chairman; Hemisphere, Inc.; the Kennesaw State University Foundation; the Puerto Rico Conservation Trust; Cumberland Island Association; Novecon Financial Ltd.; The Institute for Global Economic Growth; and CompuCredit Corp., among others.
David Behnke is remaining on the DataPath board, where he has been a member since 2005. Behnke is a senior advisor to Najeti Ventures, LLC, as well as a principal in the firm of Behnke Doherty & Associates, LLC. He was previously a managing director with JPMorgan & Company for 22 years, and also headed JPMorgan's Private Sale Advisory Group, a division that provided merger and acquisition advice to privately held companies. Prior to that, he headed the firm's Global Power Business. He serves on the boards of Floor & Decor, Inc.; the Connecticut chapter of The Nature Conservancy; the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters; and the Advisory Council of the Baker Institute of Cornell University.
Tom Dyer is also remaining on the DataPath board, where he has been a member since 2005. Dyer is president and CEO of Dyer Enterprises, Inc., as well as chairman and CEO of the board of trustees of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and chairman of the West Point Fund. He was previously president and CEO of Techsonic Industries, where he also served as VP of marketing and sales, and also held management positions at AT&T Corp. He serves on the boards of SunTrust Bank and Ironwood Productions and as a civilian aide to the Secretary of the Army.
