FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany, May 30, 2006/Satnews Daily/ ― ND SatCom will be introducing a new 2.4m multi-band transportable satellite ground terminal, the MTT2400, at the Eurosatory trade show, Europe’s largest exhibition for land and land-air defense, held June 12 to 16, 2006 in Paris, France.
ND SatCom said the new MTT2400 is an ultra compact, self-contained and easily deployable multi-band satellite terminal designed for easy transportation and set-up. With its rapid band switching capability it can be operated in any satellite network. The terminal can be monitored and controlled locally as well as remotely via satellite. A built-in power generator allows permanent stand-alone operation. Rapid world-wide deployment is guaranteed through the universal transportability concept for land, air and sea.
“We are glad to be able to offer our customers such a powerful and compact terminal, and also provide 34 RU free rack space for customized network functionality, something as yet unheard of in the industry. We are convinced that this terminal will set new standards in the area of transportable satcom terminals for military missions,” Harald Reder, CEO of ND SatCom Defense.
