David Bross

PRINCETON, NJ, Jan. 30, 2006/Satnews Daily/ — Hannover Fairs USA, Inc. (HFUSA) has announced the appointment of David Bross to the position of chairman for the ISCe 2006 show. The International Satellite & Communications exchange (ISCe) conference and expo brings together senior leaders to discuss the latest requirements, technologies and solutions for the entertainment, enterprise and military/government sectors.

“David’s extensive industry experience and prior leadership of the annual Satellite Conference in Washington, D.C. makes him the ideal person to chair our flagship ISCe event,” said Art Paredes, newly elected president and CEO, Hannover Fairs, USA. “His innovative ideas and industry relationships are already generating heightened awareness of ISCe 2006. I am confident that the event under his chairmanship will be unmatched since we launched ISCe in 2002.”

The theme of ISCe 2006, Satellite and Hybrid Solutions for the Entertainment, Enterprise and Military/Government Markets, reflects the value and cost-effectiveness that both satellite and hybrid networks provide to end users. The conference program line up reflects this convergence between satellite, cable, telcos, and utilities in addressing the changing needs of consumers and government users.

The 5th annual ISCe show will present the following programs:

·        GVF Wireless Forum

·        Space and Security Forum

·        World Teleport Association Translating the Trends Workshop

·        Carmel Group’s Cable, Satellite & Telco Entertainment Forum

·        CEO Plenary Session

·        Digital Content & Mobile Forum

·        Military & Government Requirements Forum

·        CIO/CTO Plenary Session

·        Retail Enterprise & Business Forum

·        Global Business & Financial Outlook Forum

“With five months to go before we all convene in beautiful San Diego, the response to our ISCe 2006 conference program and exhibit has been tremendous,” said David Bross, Chairman. “Exhibit and sponsorship participation is up from previous years and we’ve had great support and feedback from industry executives about the conference program.”

An exciting development for ISCe at its 2006 event is the partnership with the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics (AIAA). AIAA is co-locating its 24th International Communications Satellite Systems Conference and developing a joint program with ISCe 2006. This partnership will further strengthen the program and provide a unique venue for the global satellite industry, attracting a wide range of business executives, government leaders and the technical community.

Key programs to be presented at ISCe 2006 include Retail & Business Enterprise Forum, Digital Content Forum, Global Business & Financial Outlook Forum, Space & Security Forum, and the Government & Military Requirements Forum.  Visit www.isce.com for more information on these programs and speakers.
