Swe-Dish Partners with Anitcom

June 14, 2005/Satnews Daily/ — Swe-Dish Satellite Systems announced on Monday a cooperation with Anitcom to strengthen its position as a total solutions provider of satellite communication network for voice, video and data.

Swe-Dish said its cooperation with the Australian based company, Anitcom, will strengthen Swe-Dish's position as a total solutions provider of portable telephony and data network on the Australian and Asian market. Anitcom has a strong position and experience from advanced mobile network solutions for the Australian defense industry, Federal and State Government agencies, and Corporate Enterprise.

As a result of the cooperation, Swe-Dish said it will now expand its offer for complete network solutions for broadcaster, as well as governmental organizations and defense user groups on different levels. The network solution gives broadband connectivity and increased usability at a low cost. The benefit with the cooperation is to offer network solutions that are mobile, modular and scaleable, quick-to-air and saving operational cost, Swe-Dish said.

When using the portable communication center from Anitcom, together with the Swe-Dish Satellite equipment, up to 50 users can be connected for web browsing, email, office applications, IP and analogue telephone in the field. Modular expansion will allow for further users.

“From day one we saw our systems as the perfect companion to Swe-Dish terminals. Our aim is to provide low cost, rapid to market and high capability improvements to remote and mobile defense communications,” says, Andy Collings, sales and marketing director, Anitcom.
