ViaSat Completes Move To Georgia Facility

 

DULUTH, GA, Dec. 15, 2005/Satnews Daily/ — The VSAT Networks and Antenna Systems divisions of ViaSat Inc. (Nasdaq: VSAT) have completed a move to a new 15.5-acre campus Northeast of Atlanta, Georgia.

 

ViaSat said the campus includes two buildings totaling 143,000 square feet that accommodate engineering, manufacturing, test and operations, along with other management and administrative personnel, plus an outdoor antenna integration and test area.

 

The new development occupies 12 acres of the site with another 3.5 acres reserved for expansion, ViaSat said. One 63,000 square foot building at the front of the site will house engineering, management, sales, and marketing personnel, along with other general office space. Another 80,000 square foot building contains manufacturing operations for both business groups. An outdoor antenna staging area will enable complete build-up and test of antenna systems.

 

The new site is located on the I-85 corridor near Highway 316 and Boggs Road in Duluth, Georgia, at 1725 Breckenridge Plaza.
