New Report Says France to Have 2.4 Million IPTV Subscribers by 2009

DUBLIN, Ireland, Nov. 30, 2005/Satnews Daily/ — Subscribers to European IPTV services have increased by 66 percent in the first six months of 2005 with France staying as the biggest of Europe's IPTV markets until 2009 by which time there will be 2.4 million subscribers.

According to Research and Markets’ latest report on European IPTV,  IPTV growth rates over the next five years will have a significant impact on most European Pay TV markets. In 2004 eight new IPTV services were launched in Europe, the highest number so far.
