XM Satellite Radio Channels Now Available on DirecTV

 

WASHINGTON, Nov. 16, 2005/Satnews Daily/ — XM Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:XMSR) is now available on DirecTV. Beginning Nov. 15, 72 channels of XM's music, children's programming and talk radio content were made available via DirecTV, nearly doubling DirecTV current audio programming lineup at no additional cost.

 

In addition to XM music channels and children's programming, DirecTV is offering XM's Major League Baseball "Home Plate" talk radio channel and XM's High Voltage channel, featuring talk radio stars Opie and Anthony.

 

XM said customers subscribing to the DirecTV Total Choice programming package will have access to 50 XM Satellite Radio music channels. Customers subscribing to the DirecTV Total Choice Plus programming package and above will have access to more than 65 channels. DirecTV Para Todos customers will also have access to the same XM channels, as well as five additional Latin music channels.
