Helius Launches MediaSignage Software Package

LINDON, UT, Oct. 31, 2005/Satnews Daily/ — Helius, Inc.has launched its MediaSignage software package, a second-generation, browser-based digital signage scheduling application tool designed to give businesses the ability to effortlessly schedule and deploy multimedia content at multiple display points from a central location.

In conjunction with the MediaStream SST Advanced output device, which has on-board storage capabilities, the MediaSignage software package, according to Helius, provides a "drag and drop" interface for the development of unique multimedia playlists for playback at specific times on numerous displays. With the software, content can be displayed in a one-, two- or three-panel display with a main window, side information bar and ticker. Location and size of each panel is customizable to fit each business' needs.

The end result is a flexible, network-wide broadcast solution that communicates business-critical information to the right target at the right time. Helius added delivering customized content specific to the point-of-display gives customers a distinct advantage over simple broadcast media where content is the same at all locations.

“With the seemingly endless array of scheduling attributes the MediaSignage software possesses-from drag-and-drop programming and triple-pane display options to flash movie support and storage capabilities, managing your messages has never been simpler,” Ron Heinz, president and CEO, said.
