EMS Technologies Wins $22.3-M Value of Space Telescope Contract

 

ATLANTA, Sept. 30, 2005/Satnews Daily/ —  EMS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ELMG) has announced a contract from the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) for the detailed design of a fine guidance sensor (FGS) and a tunable filter for NASA's next-generation James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).

 

The contract is worth approximately $22.3 million over the next 18 months, EMS said. The details of this contract, let to the Space & Technology / Montreal division in Canada, were released earlier this week.
