Integral Systems Wins Air Force GPS Control Segment Study Contract

 

LANHAM, Md., Aug. 26, 2005/Satnews Daily/ — Integral Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISYS) has won an Air Force GPS Control Segment (OCX) PRDA (Program Research and Development Announcement) contract valued at approximately $1.2 million.

 

During this six-month study contract, Integral said it will investigate and develop hardware and software architectures for the next generation GPS ground segment. Integral will also provide technology demonstrations to show the ability of their architecture and capabilities to meet the GPS OCX mission requirements.

 

Steven R. Chamberlain, Integral's Chairman and CEO, said the study is an important first step towards the development of the GPS OCX.

 

Founded in 1982, Integral Systems provides satellite ground systems and has supported over 190 different satellite missions for communications, science, meteorological, and earth resource applications.
