EMS Wireless Appoints Jay Clark as Director, Global Sales

 

ATLANTA, Aug. 22, 2005/Satnews Daily/ — EMS Wireless, a division of EMS Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ – ELMG), has announced the appointment of Jay Clark as Director of Global Sales, with responsibility for sales worldwide for the division.

 

Clark oversees a staff of 20 people, who are responsible for selling EMS Wireless’s complete line of antenna, active electronics and repeater products. Clark reports to Gerald Hickman, senior vice president and general manager, EMS Wireless.

Clark brings 18 years of wireless communications sales and sales management experience to the position. He joined EMS in May of 1998 as an account manager for the Northeast Region, in Madison, Conn. In May, 2000, he was promoted to National Sales Manager for EMS Wireless, based in Norcross, Ga., with responsibility for the division’s U.S. and Canada sales regions. He held this position until August 2005, contributing to EMS Wireless’s record orders and strong order inflow this year.

Prior to joining EMS, Clark worked for six years as an independent contractor, representing communications and paging-system-infrastructure companies. Prior to that, Clark worked for five years in sales and sales management for Motorola Inc.’s Communications and Electronics Division in Connecticut, where he focused on the land-mobile communications sector. Clark has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Vermont.
