VIENNA, Va.,
Oct. 7/Satnews Daily/ -- Tachyon Networks Incorporated has
namedReeve Martin Vice President and General Manager of Tachyon's
Canadian market.
Martin is responsible for expanding the company's reach into targeted
vertical markets including oil, energy, mining, manufacturing,
transportation and government. He will build on Tachyon's Canadian
service partner program, creating and executing targeted sales
initiatives to successfully deliver Tachyon's Quality of Service (QoS)
backed satellite broadband services to the Canadian enterprise
communications market.
"Customer demand in Canada for carrier-grade remote broadband
access and terrestrial-independent disaster recovery connectivity has
rapidly increased during the past months," said Denisse Goldbarg,
Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Tachyon. "Reeve's
in-market presence and deep communications and enterprise services
experience will be invaluable as Tachyon responds to customer demand for
reliable, high speed satellite broadband in this growing
marketplace."
Martin brings more than 15 years of communications and information
technology sales and management experience to Tachyon. Most recently he
was Director of Sales/Operations for Netricom Ltd., delivering
data and voice infrastructure services to major corporate and government
clients. Previously, Mr. Martin held business and sales management
positions with GT Group Telecom and TELUS Advanced Communications. Prior
to that he founded MotionWare Technology, Inc., a telephony integration
firm which delivered group and desktop video conferencing, data network
integration, project management and LAN/WAN consulting services to
government and corporate clients.
Martin holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of
Alberta.
