SpaceDev Reports Sixth Consecutive Quarter of Revenue Growth |

POWAY, Calif., Aug. 10/Satnews Daily/ — SpaceDev, Inc. (OTCBB: SPDV) said today revenues for the three-months ending June 30, 2004 increased 59% to $1,200,692, compared to $753,956 for the same period in 2003. Revenue also increased 18% from $1,014,751 in the first quarter in 2004.
Reporting its financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2004, SpaceDev said profit from operations was $32,865 for the second quarter of 2004, compared to a loss from operations of $364,912 for the second quarter in 2003. Profit from operations for the six-months ended June 30, 2004 was $44,785 compared to a loss of $728,641 for the comparable period in 2003.
“Our working capital ratio and stockholders deficit continued to show significant improvements, and we expect continued increases in revenue, quarter by quarter, this year," Richard B. Slansky, CFO of SpaceDev said.
During the six-month period ending June 30, 2004, EBITDA increased to approximately $77,000, or 3.5% of net sales, compared to an EBITDA loss of approximately $622,000, or 48.4 % of net sales, for the six-month period ending June 30, 2003.
The net loss for the three-months ending June 30, 2004 was $1,286,866, or $0.07 per share, compared to a net loss of $412,752, or $0.03 per share, for the comparable period in 2003 and a net loss of $442,550, or $0.03 per share, for the first quarter of 2004. Recent Story: |
