Kevin Prince Joins Chyron Corp. as VP, Strategic Marketing

MELVILLE, NY, August 2/Satnews Daily/ — Chyron Corp. (OTC BB: CYRO) has appointed Kevin Prince to the newly created position of Vice President of Strategic Marketing.

Michael Wellesley-Wesley, CEO of Chyron who announced the appointment, said Prince’s arrival strengthens our capabilities in serving the company’s important graphics customers.

Prince, who will be based at the company’s Melville, NY, location, will be part of the management team responsible for new product introductions, market branding and product awareness. 

“Kevin will be initially focused on determining the needs and requirements of key customers and large broadcast groups,” said Rich Hajdu, Chyron’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “His industry experience and expertise will be a real benefit to our customer base.”

Previously, Prince spent nearly eight years with Pinnacle Systems in various positions within the graphics products group. He was instrumental in the development of products that included FX Deko, DekoCast and the integration of Vortex into the Pinnacle organization. Prince has also held product marketing and management positions with Discreet Logic, Quantel and Alpha Image.

A 1978 graduate of Brighton Polytechnic (UK) with a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Prince lives in Wilton, CT with his wife and two children.
