Chase Teams With Longbottom |

July 23/Satnews Daily/ – Scott Chase, founder of full-service management consulting firm Chase Media, has teamed with industry public relations veteran Penelope Longbottom to expand Longbottom Communications’ comprehensive marketing communications, strategic messaging, materials production, and media and public relations services.
Immediately prior to forming Chase Media, Chase was executive of PBI Media LLC and former editor of Via Satellite. He is also former publisher of several trade publications, including Film & Video magazine, Rotor & Wing, Avionics, Aviation Maintenance, Communications Technology, Launchspace, and other titles.
Chase was once president and chief executive officer of The Strategis Group responsible for all global activities of a 100-person telecom market research and consulting firm.
In addition to a core capability in the world satellite arena, Chase also is conversant in the telecom, broadband/cable, defense, aviation, and film and video production industries. The partnership is expected to enable Longbottom Communications to enlarge its universe of customers and to add to its ability to serve clients outside its traditional base in North America.
Chase worked at Communications Satellite Corp. (COMSAT) as a public and investor relations professional from 1981 to 1985. He was with The Washington Post from 1977 to 1981 as a news staffer for the Business & Financial News section of the paper.
Chase is a member of the board and Secretary of the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation, and is a Senior Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. A lifelong resident of the Washington, D.C., area, Chase graduated from the University of Maryland in 1976. |
