StarBand Launches New 481 Residential Service

MCLEAN, Va., July 21/Satnews Daily/ ─ Satellite Internet provider StarBand has launched the new StarBand 481 Residential service that provides residential customers upload speeds at an affordable monthly fee ranging from $69.99 to $89.99 per month based on term commitment length.

With the new service, customers can receive download speeds up to 500 kbps and upload speeds routinely up to 100 kbps. The service offers limited VPN capabilities, connectivity with Windows, Mac, Unix, and Linux operating systems, ten free e-mail accounts, free basic Web hosting and an optional static IP address.
