XM Radio Reaches  2.1 Million Subscribers in Second Quarter of 2004 

WASHINGTON, July 14/Satnews Daily/ -- XM Satellite Radio finished the second quarter of 2004 with more than 2.1 million subscribers, adding more than 418,000 net new subscribers in the quarter. 

XM's said the subscriber gain is more than double the number of subscribers added during the second quarter of 2003, when XM recorded more than 209,000 new subscribers.
