A Commanding Contract For DataPath

The Communications-Electronics Command has awarded a $7.8 million contract to DataPath, Inc. Provided will be field services for a critical network of 32 DataPath Deployable Ku-band Earth Terminals (DKET) in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of Southwest Asia. The company has more than 170 personnel in support of the U.S. military in 60 locations and nine countries.

The award was delivered through the Worldwide Satellite Systems contract. A total of 69 DataPath field service representatives will provide operations and maintenance services for an initial six-moth base period. There’s an option for an additional six months within the next three years. The total value of the program could exceed $50 million if all of the options are exercised.
